Volunteers

United Way of North Central Iowa's Day of Caring

Join us on September 2nd from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for United Way of North Central Iowa's Day of Caring, a community-wide volunteer event that brings people together to make a difference.

Teams of volunteers from local businesses, organizations, and community groups will partner with area nonprofits to complete meaningful projects that strengthen our communities. From painting and landscaping to organizing, cleaning, and special projects, volunteers will provide hands-on support where it is needed most.

Day of Caring is more than a day of service. It is an opportunity to foster volunteerism, build connections, and celebrate the power of giving back. Together, we can create lasting impact and show what is possible when a community comes together to help one another.

Whether you are a nonprofit with a project or a team looking to serve, we invite you to be part of this inspiring day of action.

Have a Project That Needs Volunteers?

United Way's Day of Caring connects local nonprofits with teams of volunteers ready to help. If your organization has a project that could benefit from extra hands, we invite you to submit it for consideration. From beautification projects to organizing, cleaning, and special initiatives, volunteers can help you make a bigger impact in a single day.
