Project Description
Help us transform an important outdoor space into a safer, more inviting area for the youth in our residential treatment program!
At the center of our campus is a small pavilion surrounded by landscaping rocks. This shaded spot is a favorite gathering place for our residents—it’s used daily, especially in the summer months, for breaks, activities, and moments of calm. However, the surrounding rocks make it difficult to use safely and comfortably.
That’s where you come in! We’re asking volunteers to roll up their sleeves and join us in giving this space a much-needed upgrade.
🔹 What You’ll Do:
Shovel & Remove Rocks: Volunteers will help scoop up the rocks that currently surround the pavilion. (No need to haul them away—a local landscape company will handle removal!)
Spread Playground Mulch: Once delivered, volunteers will help shovel, spread, and level playground-safe mulch around the pavilion, creating a soft, welcoming surface.
🔹 Why It Matters:
By replacing the rocks with playground mulch, we’ll make this well-loved pavilion area safer, cleaner, and more comfortable for the children and teens who rely on it daily. Your hard work will directly improve the quality of life for our residents and make their outdoor experiences more enjoyable.
🔹 What to Expect:
This is a hands-on project—be ready to dig in!
Tools and supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your favorite work gloves or shovel.
Drinks and snacks will be available to keep you energized.
No special skills are required—just a willingness to work together and make a difference!
💡 The Impact: By the end of the project, you’ll see a complete transformation of this space—a pavilion that’s not just shaded and inviting, but also safe and ready for summer fun.
Join us in turning sweat equity into smiles for the kids we serve!
