2020 Community Impact Grants
What is a Community Impact Grant?
United Way of North Central Iowa Community Impact Grants are how we invest local dollars in our communities to address specific community centered issues. Funding decisions are made through a competitive application process. Our Community Impact Grants are invested in high performing nonprofit organizations that provide programs and services aligned with our strategic priority areas of Childhood Success, Youth Success, Economic Mobility and Access to Health. Applications are reviewed by dedicated community volunteers and allocated by Community Impact Teams.
Letter of Intent
The LOI is the first step in our Community Impact Grant-making process. Your responses will determine your alignment with our 2020 grant cycle focus of Childhood Success, Youth Success, Access to Health and Economic Mobility. A Community Impact Partner workshop and Q&A will be held Tuesday, December 10th from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the Iowa State Patrol Office 4425 S Washington Avenue, Mason City, IA 50401.
After review of LOI's, we will notify applicants of their eligibility to complete a full proposal. Full proposals will be due January 28, 2020 with funding decisions by April 1.
Please submit your LOI by November 20th at 5:00 p.m. through the e-C Impact portal found here: e-C Impact Homepage.
