United Way of North Central Iowa goes looking for problems and brings people and resources together to solve them.
As a United Way board member, parent and community member it is my role to share the needs of our community members and work together to mobilize the best resources to find the solutions in our region. To do this, the United Way provides resources, advocacy and funding to the partner agencies who are serving the abused, hungry, and those who have no idea where to go. It is easy to assume that these are “big city” problems, yet these problems are real and prevalent right here in our communities.
