Chief Professional Officer 

Jennifer has worked as the Chief Professional Officer at United Way since January 2003. Since then, Jennifer has been dedicated to enhancing the Health and Human Services in north central Iowa. She volunteers on many local committees that focus on children, education, income enhancement and health for everyone. She advocates at the local and state level to ensure the community's concerns are addressed. She gives her time and many talents to United Way of North Central Iowa to ensure that we are advancing the common good. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys being on her land with her family.

Emily Willett

Emily Willett grew up in southeast Iowa ’s Van Buren County.  Following high school, she received her Associate of Arts Degree from Indian Hills Community College and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication: Journalism from Truman State University .  After graduation, Emily moved back to southeast Iowa and worked as news director and marketing consultant at KMCD-Classic 96 radio in Fairfield .  Most recently, Emily worked at Indian Hills Community College as a recruiter and high school programs liaison, serving as spokesperson for the college, building relationships with students, parents, education officials and the community.  While in Fairfield , she actively served in a number of community service organizations.  Emily and her husband, Brent recently moved to north Iowa , as Brent accepted a position as Executive Director for the North Iowa Corridor Economic Development Association.  Prior to the move, Emily completed her Masters in Business Leadership Degree from William Penn University .  Emily and Brent reside in Mason City .

Andrea Mujica

Andrea Mujica grew up in Mason City.  Andrea holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Buena Vista University.  Andrea is the Interim Community Impact Coordinator as well as the TeenScreen Schools & Communities Program Coordinator for United Way of North Central Iowa.  Andrea has 28 years experience working in the banking and financial industry most recently as a retail branch manager for Wells Fargo.  She has extensive background in community and public relations, advertising, project management as well as administrative and organizational management.   Andrea has been a very active community volunteer in a wide variety of organizations.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends.  Andrea lives in Mason City with her husband David and daughters Emily & Natalie.

Executive Assistant

Corinne Walker has been with United Way of North Central Iowa since fall of 2005. She lives in Nora Springs with her husband, Don. They have two children, Tyrell and Whitney. Corinne enjoys all of the people involved with United Way and being part of an organization that is making a difference in north central Iowa.

Suicide Prevention Coordinator

Wendy Balles grew up in Pueblo, Colorado and graduated from East High School. She graduated from Baker College Online with an Associates degree in Web Design. In 2006, Wendy and her daughter, Desede, moved to Mason City to be near her family. She works with the family business, Mason City Roofing, as the Advertising Manager. As a survivor of her brother's suicide in 2004, Wendy has been involved in many Suicide Prevention efforts. She enjoys helping others and spending time with her family, especially her children Desede and Noah.
