Overview

To improve lives in our community, United Way of North Central Iowa invests donors' gifts in the highest quality programs that make measurable progress toward the organization's established outcomes in Education, Income, and Health. United Way invites non-profit service providers doing outstanding work in these areas to consider applying for United Way funding through the competitive Community Impact Grants process.  Service providers apply for funding for programs that align with United Way of North Central Iowa's established outcomes.  The first step in this process is the completion of the Letter of Intent.  Once completed, the submitted Letters of Intent will be reviewed by United Way staff and volunteers.

Service Area

All applying agencies must focus their efforts in United Way of North Central Iowa's service area.  The service area covers a nine-county territory including: Butler, Cerro Gordo, Floyd, Franklin, Hancock, Mitchell, Kossuth, Winnebago, and Worth.
